Did your FH Cry during Ceremony/Reception/

I saw this topic on another thread....

Since you are all married ladies...
Did your FH cry when you didn't expect him to?
If so when did it happen?

I have only seen FH cry a few times in the 8 years we have been together...I'm going to cry anyway but I'm curious to know how many macho men cried when they opened to doors for their brides to come down the aisle!

I tormented DH for weeks leading up to the wedding, asking him if he would cry. He didn't, he had a huge smile most of the ceremony

My Dh cried during the ceremony, actually we both did and he cried during our first dance.

No he didn't. I wasn't shocked at that. I didn't cry either which was a BIG shock for everyone.

I was just so happy that day! We both were.

DH didn't cry just stared at me the whole time, I thought I would be a mess but didn't shed a tear all day - which was very surprising because I'm normally emotional.

DH swore he wouldn't cry and he didn't. He cried the night before when we were alone together because he said he was so happy. We had our first meeting in a park before the ceremony with just the two of us and he had a HUGE grin on his face. That grin stayed put all day and night.

I thought I would definitely cry, especially when I first saw him and during the ceremony. I can get emotional so I figured it was a given. Nope...not one tear. I too had a big old grin on my face all day through everything, even the dance with DH and then with my dad that I thought would have me bawling. I was just SO happy, excited, and nervous and felt like I was in a dream. The day just flew by at lightning speed. The tears came down when the final song played and I went over to my mom to say good night. There was hardly anyone left at that point and I just looked at her with her proud look on her face and cried out of happiness. I guess the un-realness of the day was gone and it finally hit me that I was married and the wedding was over.

He got teary eyed and then noticed I was trembeling uncontollably and tried to calm me down so I think i distracted him

My DH didn't cry ... but he did say it 'got a little dusty up there' when he was watching me walk down the aisle to the song he picked out.

During the ceremony TWO of our GMs cried!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dh did not cry during the ceremony. He was quite chocked up, but no tear action

Both of us cried as I walked down the aisle. As soon as I saw him, I had this one tear running down my face the whole way.....and his lip was quivering....so cute.

i kept saying before the wedding that i would LOVE if DH cried, because I would know he was emotional, but he didnt---and that was OK with me too, I was just happy to see him so happy that day. I've actually never seen him cry before in the 10 years that we've known each other. Neither of us cried, but pretty much everyone else in the church did!
