Ok ladies - here's the deal, how many of you had your FH with you to register? My guy absolutely DISPISES shopping. its like pulling teeth to get him to shop even for clothes for himself.....soo, i'm having a mini battle with him now to get him to go. I've tried the 'they have a cool scanner for you to play with' ' what about beer mugs etc...' nothings working - so i'm wondering...did you have your FH with you? is it common that guys don't want to go? I feel like the gifts are for BOTH of us so he should be there...but he just says 'honey you are so good with this stuff you should do it'
what do you think?

I did mine online, and then he went with em to the crate and barrel event cus there was food and my friend got ehr FH to go. Then the other night i hadhim go to the Bloomies one with me cus he got to use a scan gun adn there was food. i think he was a lil bored but he liked scanning things. Hahaha.

Definitely go with your FH! They might not like picking out all the items, so you can start small, have them work with you on the scanner and just pick out the basics. You can always update stuff online afterwards. Plus its good to have their input.

I went by myself to BBB b/c FH totally didnt care about the kitchen type stuff. I brought him to Target and JC Penney - and to be honest - it wouldve been better if i went alone. Hes not a shopper so he cant hold out a long time and he was getting bored and playing around with the scanner

My FH went with me.... He wasn't completely thrilled about going BUT he was excited to use the scanner and we didn't do everything at once. We went one weekend and did china, then another weekend we did kitchen stuff, etc... And after each time-we went and did something special, just the two of us. It doesnt have to be a bad experience.

My FH actually suggested going to register!! Like... he turned to me a couple of weekends ago... and said 'you know, we should really register soon'. I think I have an abnormal fiance. He is a self-proclaimed metrosexual, but I still found it hilarious that he said we should go register. He is all about it!!

i started the registry online but took him with me to the store to update. i could tell he was getting restless but he wasnt that bored.

FH & I went to BBB to register for a few things. He went straight to the barware picked what he wanted and that was it. He got bored with it quickly. When I go to Macys and to finish BBB it will be by myself or with my mom since she will be well enough by then.

i did crate and barrel with FSIL and he did Macys alone. then we went online and made revisions on each.
