I haven't gotten a single call actually.
Well... before I signed up with my RH I got calls from Millenium brides and a couple of other crazy marketing places. I asked them to remove my number and I haven't been called since.
My RH gave me the list of in house vendor contacts - not the other way around.

Yes they did... the only ones calling me are the florists though...guess it is ok though...I have to book them next...then limos

they only gave the number to house vendors. Most of them stopped calling after I said I had booked my vendors already thankfully.

yes! i wasn't sure this was the norm at first but a friend who is also getting married was getting stuff and calls too! i just dont pick up numbers i do not recognize on my cell phone. i got most of the calls right after we booked and some more after the jt showcase but its calmed down now. i dont mind it! only a future bride once!! only gave out my cell number - so fh doesnt have to deal with it or nothing. : )

No, our RH did NOT give out our information to vendors. None of the halls I visited gave our our phone number either.

it happened to us too and my FH made the vendor tell him where he got the number...he said the RH didn't give it to him. I don't know if he was telling the truth or not...but ....he bought it off a girl who worked there. don't know if he was telling the truth or not........

LOTS of phone calls, and LOTS of mail. It's tapered off now, but I was getting them constantly for awhile.

I second the Carlton as the worst offender...........the first call i got i asked how they got my number, they said from the carlton, I was so unhappy, I crossed them off my list.

Yes, and I found it annoying. When I was having my final meetings with the RH I mentioned it to them and they were like, if they were annoying you should have let us know and we would have told them to stop calling you. They were like we want to maintain a good relationship with them so if you weren't happy we would have helped.
If you want the calls to stop I would mention it to your banquet manager.
