Did your rh give your # out?

After you booked did you start receiving calls from vendors.

Yeah it was annoying... until I met with the flower vendor and was sooooooooo glad I did.

Yes - I was not happy about it. I am STILL getting calls from vendors. One florist in particular just can't take a hint.

The Carltun was the WORST for that!! The only reason I know it was them was they misspelled my name on the contact form when I initially met with them, and I started getting TONS of mail and phone calls to that name. The worst is that I did not book with them.

Every time I book something or go to a show I get flooded with phone calls.

I guess we were lucky, our hall didn't do this.

We told them not to. We said it was only ok for vendors to contact us by mail.

Yeah, except my FMIL was the one who called and made the initial appt with the reception hall, so first they started calling her! We only got a few calls, but no one harassed us after we said we'd already booked with another vendor.

I dont think mine did....but that metrobridal expo certainly did!!!!!!!

We get calls from vendors that were at a bridal shows never once did our RH give out our number.Also be careful of what websites you sign up for cause they will give out your number and you will get a ton of calls.

Yes. And it was particularly annoying as I told them when we signed that I didn't want them to give out our phone, address, or email. I immediately called my RH and told them that they had better fix it, and that I was going to make sure that we specifically wouldn't book anyone who contacted us. I hate that stuff. I have to say, though, that they got right on it and we never heard from anyone again.

yes ours did!! both me and my FH got them on our cell phones which was so annoying cause it justs gives the number and not the name of ther vendor -- I wish I oculd have screened some of those calls

none! but I'd be sooo @#$@ if they did.....

that's BS. I can just imagine being busy at work and getting phone calls from DJ's, Florists.... when we already are booked....

I have gotten lots of calls on my cell phone!!! I asked FH if he was getting calls and he said no. He laughed at the fact that they were calling me and not him!!!!

Ours did and one florist and DJ keeps calling and calling every week. I let the machine pick it up each time. I wish they wouldn't give our numbers out.
