Re: Did you/will you go on a 'babymoon'?
OMG what a great idea! We didn't, I never thought of it and it is something I regret not taking advantage of. Right now I am 8 months and not going anywhere. Someone in my office just booked a 'babymoon' to Sandals in Jamaica... I am very jealous! If you can do it, I say go for it!!!

I am trying to book a vacation for early April. I will only be 12 weeks but it is the only time I can have off....

We're just having the hardest time deciding where to go - we can't go anywhere that will involve a ton of activity, but we also want to go somewhere we wouldn't necessarily go with kids. It also has to be somewhere with good medical care becauase I will be at least 26-27 weeks when we go (I can't get away from work until then). Any ideas???

We are heading down the the Keys at the beginning of April - I will be 28 weeks along by then so we didn't want to go too far. And we didn't want to spend too much $$ so this seemed like a good compromise.

I didn't -- and now I'm 36 weeks. We were on vacation though the week before we got the news of my pregnancy. Seems like it would be a lot of fun to have gone on a babymoon, but my hubby wanted to save his vacation time for after the baby is here.

We're going to the Bahamas next weekend for a long weekend. I will be 12 weeks then. I'm hoping for another vacation this summer before the baby gets here!

We REALLY want to and we are planning on doing something though I don't know exactly what, where, or when yet - but we should probably be booking soon!
Anyway, the problem is not where to go, the problem is $$$$, I don't get paid leave (I have to use up all my time) so we have to save up for the month and a half I won't be getting paid for.

We are hoping to go on a vacation over the early part of the summer. As long as everything goes according to plan.

We're kind of in the same position. I want to take some extra time off which will be unpaid so I feel like being able to stay home with the baby comes first now but I would really love a get away with DH. I am sure we'll try to do a long weekend somewhere when it gets closer. Maybe for his birthday in August.
