Re: Diet?

I did a liquid detox that helped me lose about 12lbs in two weeks, probably unhealthy but it worked and I'm going to do it again for my wedding next year :

a little extreme but it works

Do you drink this between meals or this is just it?

Re: Diet?

try the fat smash diet! the first phase is 9 days, even tho you dont have 9 days...you will still lose a bunch of weight...

it really consists of
a ton of fruits and veggies,
yogurt,
oatmeal,
and brown rice!!

its not much, but its all good stuff!
and work out at least 30 mins a day!

A friend of mine did this a few years ago. It is just this drink, nothing else. IMO, not healthy AT ALL. IMO, this is basically starving yourself. Much better to exercise, drink water, and watch the carbs, salt, etc.

thats more of a cleansing thing. its not technically for weight loss..., its for cleansing. my coworker used to do that every so often. i think he's nuts for it. haha! he would do it more than 2 times a year.

It probably would work.. but it takes a lot to get through it.

Re: Diet?

I just finished phase one of fat smash... I lost 6 pounds in the nine days. Now I am going to go on ww to maintain it. Every time I do the fat smash phase one I lose at least 6 pounds! I plan on doing this once more before my wedding.

Good luck!!!

Re: Diet?

the most weight loss i've had in a week has been what i like to call biggest loser style...lol

eat high in lean protein, low in carbs, lots of fresh fruits and veggies

and bump up cardio to twice a day and some weights in between

Re: Diet?

ok what exactly is the fat smash diet??

Theresa2104 Posted:

Re: Diet?

Fat smash is very limited on Phase I (9 days)
But it is great for a detox....

Foods allowed:
All Veggies (except white potatoes and avocados)
Brown rice (limited quantities)
Skim Milk
Non fat yogurt
All Fruit
Beans
Oatmeal
Tofu
Egg whites

I think that is pretty much it! It always reminds me how I can incorporate more veggies / fruits into my diet.

I drop weight like crazy when I do this. But it is literally ONLY the items listed (I think they allow a tiny bit of olive oil for cooking and such)

Re: Diet?

Lots and lots of water
No carbs after 4pm.
No alcohol
Make lunch your biggest meal, dinner should be small and comprised of lean protein + veggies
