Re: diet plan
What kidns of things are you doing now? Basically I eat 5 meals a day. My meal each day include protein, veggies and healthy carbs for a few of my meals. I also do carb cycling which means the amount of carbohydrates differ each day and cycle throughout the week! This has greatly worked for me! The key is to eat every few hours and drink lots of water!!

Re: diet plan
Mine has been working pretty well. I've lost 8lbs so far and have another 8 to go with 6 months left. I run 5 miles 3-4 days per week and then do combination cardio and weight training on the alternate days. As for food I eat TONS of FIBER!! You should eat minimum of 34grams per day. It'll REALLY help you to lose weight. I eat 1 cup of Fiber One cereal mixed 3/4 cup with Honey Bunches of Oats in the morning. I drink LOTS of green tea with nothing in it. And lots of salad w/grilled chicken and grilled veggies with No dressing. Trust me, you'll get used to it. Plus the grilled veggies (especially grilled tomatoes) weep and make their own dressing w/out any additional calories. If you must have dressing then put it on the side and lightly dip your fork into it. You'll cut the calores by leaps and bounds.I keep my calorie intake in the 1200-1400 range but try to stay closer to 1200. One day a week I up it to 1500-1600 b/c you need to shock your metabolism so it doesn't stall from always eating only 1200-1400 calories. Just make sure that when you up your caloreis you do so with healthier option foods that are low in fat. Also I don't eat after 6pm at night. I would really say the running has been the key in my weight loss though. I also buy tons of healthier alternative foods to substitute my favorites (i.e. Special K waffles which are only 80 cals per waffle w/lite syrup and I can't believe it's not butter spray if I need a sweet fix; Pita chips w/lite cheese; lots of lean cuisine and Kashi premade meals if you're pressed for time; Healthy select and light/low sodium soups, etc..). FM me if you have any other questions!

Yeah, I always check the labels for the best ones before I buy them. That's why I really like the Kashi ones. They're the healthiest and taste really good. They're a little higher in calories some of them so you have to read all the labels too, but they're made with much more wholesome ingredients. OH and eat lots of Quinoa! I actually came to like it by eating the Kashi meals and now I eat it on my own. I personally like it better than brown rice and it's even healthier. I like to cook it with a little chicken or beef stock instead of water. You can find a low sodium version (w/280-400mg of sodium per cup) and it gives it this amazing flavor. Just add a little garlic and onion flakes w/some fresh chives. Mmmmm...super healthy, low calorie, low sodium, low fat, high fiber and filling!

Re: diet plan
Adrianna, I've been following a 1200 calorie/daily diet, and have lost 20 lbs. since Jan. I plan to keep on to lose another 20. I'm not an active person, and I'm diabetic, which makes me weight loss resistant, but the 1200 cal. diet has always worked for me to lose weight. It's keeping it off that's a problem. When I reach my goal, I'll step up my cal. intake to 1500 cal./daily, lest I keep losing weight!!!!! Mary MOB

Re: diet plan
I decided to start doing lean cuisine at work for lunch every day instead of my usual $8-$10 salad or au bon pain thrown together meal. I keep everything else the same or at least have so far. In one week of Lean Cuisine for lunch at work (which is saving me super amounts of money too!) I'm down 3 lbs!!! This after I've been stuck at the same weight the last year and a half (I had originally lost 40 lbs and could never get over that hump).
I'll let you know if it keeps working. I would LOVE to be down another 10 in the next 2 months.
