Re: Diets
i've lost almost 10 lbs since January. I've just really been watching my late-night binge eating and my portion sizes at meals...and really stepping it up in the exercise dept.

I agree, Im totally waiting to go dress shopping!! I have a couple of mini-goal weights.. one for memorial day weekend, then another (much more giving because of summer treats) goal for labor day weekend, xmas etc.
I find that compartmentalizing it makes it ALOT easier. Im eating all the same foods I love, just smaller portions, and its working! Ive lost 12 pounds since my engagement on 2/10.

Re: Diets
I am not a big 'Diet' person. My theory is watch what I eat and work out. It is so hard to follow a certain diet and even though I should, I think it is easier for me to just stick to what I am doing. I just started hitting the gym again and I was unable to walk for 2-days

Oh.. I just named the diet after ME!!! but I limited my carbs to the morning or in the afternoon when I knew I was doing cardio at the gym later.. I stopped snacking all together and I didn't eat after 8pm (I would have made it earlier, but wirh my schedule, it wasn't possible)..

Re: Diets
A few years ago b4 I met my FH I lived at the gym, I was single & had no life Id go to the gym & come home & eat rice.. Fast forward to today , we live 2gether & I cook every night. & Its not just rice I dont eat like him , but since i met him I have packed on the pounds. Thank god he hasnt gotten repulsed yet
I really cant find the time to do the gym again , i work till 5:30 ish by the time i get forget it !! Its too late, plus with saving for wedding cant afford to join the gym again.
My neighbor called me last night & I was having a pity fest on myself about this & she was like 'take my treadmill' she has 2 kids & has no time, she was like , 'use it for how ever long you want , if i want it back, ill just be like give me my tredmill'
so I am so psyched now,, thats what promted my post..
mike is going by her house after work to get it , I cant wait, i need it,,
not only just the wedding , our e party is the end of may , id like to loose some by then,,

Re: Diets
I am always battling my weight but I was a size 6 until my FH and I moved in together two years ago. Since then I have put on 15 to 20 pounds.
I joined WW and my goal is to lose 20lbs, and I have an elliptical and a treadmill, so I have been getting up at 5:30 am this week to workout. This is not only for my wedding, but I am the MOH for my best friend who is getting married in September. Her wedding is giving me the incentive to lose weight.
Good luck girls!!! We can do it!!!!

I know it's really hard believe me, but I would never do it when I get home from work. I feel like when I workout in the morning I get it over with. I am not one that enjoys working out. Yes, I feel better after I do it, but it's not something I look forward too.
