different color bridesmaid dresses?

The debate is on. While I know a lot of people go for the same color bridesmaid dresses I'm torn. I also like the idea of eAch girl wearing the same dress but in different colors. I have 6 girls, thinking of wisteria, malibu,,lapis, Apple, beggonia, and blue bird. It's a August wedding and I love colors I feel like it just brightens everything. What do you think? Likes or dislikes?

different color bridesmaid dresses?

Personally, I think that's a lot of colors. What about having 3 in one color and 3 in a different color? Or 2, 2, and 2?

different color bridesmaid dresses?

My bms are in wisteria and my moh is in Mercury. The gm are wearing the charcoal Vera Wang tux from men's warhorse so I think everything will blend nicely!

Personally I like everyone in the same color and same style. I guess I'm traditional like that.

different color bridesmaid dresses?

I like the idea of the same color for bm and maybe the moh in a different color. My girls are wearing truffle with a champagne sash my moh's is just blinged instead of a plain sash.

different color bridesmaid dresses?

My cousin's wife did that for her wedding last year. Personally, I didn't care for it, but it was cute. It certainly matched with her personality and fit with the colorful theme of her wedding.

different color bridesmaid dresses?

I think that would be cute. I used to want all the girls in different pastel colors but changing the theme of my wedding changed that.

different color bridesmaid dresses?

Hmm I think it could go either way. It could look gorgeous or tacky. I think best bet is to go and have the girls try on all the different colors and have them stand there. A visual is definitely needed in this case! Good luck

different color bridesmaid dresses?

It's hard to get a complete visual of it because 2 of the girls live here and the other 4 are in different states. I'm torn because I do love the way the dreadlocks in the wisteria and also the Malibu. Both are my favorite colors so I think that's why it'd difficult. Wondering what everyone thinks of maybe 3 girls wearing wisteria 2 girls in the Malibu and mob in lapis. What do you think?

different color bridesmaid dresses?

I think same style but different color dresses could be beautiful, but only if they are in the same color family or go together really well. The colors you mentioned I think all together would clash too much.

I agree....I think when it's the same dress in different shades of the same color (pinks, purples, etc.) it looks beautiful!

I agree you need a visual. You go with each of the 2 girls who live here to see how the 3 colors look together. It's ultimately your wedding and your decision but I think it would help to see it altogether.
