Digital Camera

I'm sure that this has been posted before but...

After my whole drama with Shutterfly (film still missing and it's been almost three weeks) I'm thinking about buying a digital camera - finally.

Any recommendations? What do you use and what should I look for?

DH just got me the Canon Powershot A80....4 mp (megapixels)....it does EVERYTHING....I can even shoot in B & W or Sepia!!! Very easy to use too....

I have a sony 3.2 mega pixel.. it also takes mpeg movies.. I love it...

Make sure it has a zoom... My camera zooms only after you take the pict and I noticed it doesnt look print out as nice if I do that. I wind up having picts that look really far away or I have to get up in everyones face to take a pict... very annoying

I hate digital! When i want to post pics on shutterfly I pay $4 to have the lab put the photos on CD! So Much easier. if were getting a digi though, I;d get the Nikon F100

I had the canon power shot and lost it, so last week went and bought the newer one, the sd110, I LOVE it. Its only three megapixels, but takes fantastic pictures, it takes video clips and is so small you could put it anywhere. I love my camera!

We just got the Pentax Optio 550. It's 5 MP. Love it! You can shoot in all kinds of colors, including black and white, it has a 3D feature, a pretty good zoom lens, the battery lasts a pretty long time, and it's relatively small (although the price isnt'! It was around $450, plus we bought a 264MB memory card on top of that.....). No complaints so far....
