I am shopping for one right now- I'm looking at the olympus stylus 300 digital- my friend has this and I liked the pictures it took. Any other suggestions? THANKS!

Re: digital cameras

I had an Elph 300 (? - FH lost it) and I hated it!!

I think I want a Nikon Coolpix ... or a digital camcorder w/still photo capability. I hate researching this kind of thing and FH would research it to death ...

We have the Olympus d-560 and we love it. I couldn't be happier with it. I don't even know where my regular camera is anymore!

Re: digital cameras

I have the Canon Powershot and i think its great...

I wouldn't even think about gettin 5 pix...(even 4 is too much for most people) unless you are going to make posters...3 is MORE than enough...don't let the salespeople talk you into more...

I just got this one too! It works very well. It is also so easy to use! I wanted 5 mp for the work I do. However, Sony has cameras with 3.2 mp and I hear good things about them also.

Re: digital cameras

We got a Cannon powershot right before the wedding. The honemoon pics came out great! I can't wait to print some of them. I really don't know anything about them but I think is is a 4mp.
