Re: Dilema

Can I ask why no Groomsmen?

It will look fine...they will sit where they normally would.....on the Brides side.

It's your day and you do what you want~

Re: Dilema

Well, as you guys know, i was only going to have a MOH - my sister - then she s crewed me over with the hateful email. so, now, i asked my SIL (whom I'm very close with), but I don't want to hurt my other two SIL's feelings. So, I'm going to ask them to be BM's. My FI doesn't have anyone he is close enough to ask, and he said he really doens't want them anyway (which is what we both agreed to in the beginning). So, I just wanted to make sure that BM's only was okay - and if anyone has ever been to a wedding where there were just BM's.

Who is going to stand up for him? I think that you need 2 witnesses to sign the marriage certificate. Are you going to have one of the other BM's do it?

Re: Dilema

Thanks so much, Emily! I'm trying to work it out, so we'll see. It's been very hard, and I'm still very hurt and shocked. But, I will not anyone ruin my wedding - even my sister. Thanks!!

Re: Dilema

i think it 'll be fine--it's sweet that his dad is his Best Man and it's day-do it however you want to!

glad you are working through that situation and that you are close enough with your SIL to ask her.

what a shame that you had to go through that.

I think that whatever you want to do is fine... although I'm wondering where your brothers fit in to this picture. I have to admit, I would expect to see them in the bridal party before SILs. Of course I have no clue about your relationships, and trust that you know whats best!!!

Re: Dilema

Thanks so much everyone!!!

Valenia, you're funny - and right! I forgot to mention my younger brother (hopefully he will definitely be back from Iraq by then) and my older brother are walking me down the aisle. My dad passed away a few years ago. So, that's where they 'fit in'!
