Ok so my mom and I went dress shopping for her day of attire, she tried on about 12-13 dresses and the one we both loved loved loved is a mermaid style similar to my wedding dress. I didn't think about it at the time because it looked so good on her, she actually brought it to my attention. Would this be weird to see her in a dress with the similar style as me??

P.S...she is walking me down the aisle
Please any opinions I would appreciate

i agree with the others, it's different enough in style albeit same shape...i think it would work perfectly fine

Like the girls said its the same style but very different.. so I think it will be fine. I actually think the dresses compliment eachother and is going to look beautiful while walking down the aisle together.

First of all, Marcia, your figure is just amazing, and I am resentful (kidding). Your dress is just breathtaking! I really haven't seen anything else like it. I LOVE IT!
Second, same goes for your MOB dress. If your mom can pull that off, you have been blessed with some amazing genes!
I LOVE both of these dresses, and they will look beautiful together. Absolutely not too similar. The only real similarity is the silhouette being mermaid. Otherwise, the bodice AND the bottom are completely different.

It's an Alyce Design, I do love it on her, my mom has a tiny frame so it compliments her well.

My dress fits me now so I am trying not to put on any extra pounds in the next 5 1/2 months

Thanks ladies for your opinions!! I was thinking the same thing and then FH made me nervous...that goes to show you men don't know has much as they think they do
