dilemmaa NWR

so 1 of the docs i never ever see.. like havent seen in 2 yrs? asked me to do somethign for him... it is time consuming and im just too busy but i told him ill get around to it.. welll then he gave me a DEADLINE! uhm dude.. NO.

so i told my boss..and he said that my time is more valuable than his and im busier than he is and he doesnt want me spending any time on it.


i feel bad cuz i wanan help out the guy but i dont want to fal behind on my own sheit and liw.


what do i say to him if he asks for a progress report lol

just tell him unfortunately you dont have the time right now to get it done as good as it should be.. and you have to focus on your own work so you dont fall behind. say that you thought you were able to get it done but since he gave you a deadline it doesnt seem reachable .. and sorry you would have liked to help it just wont be done in a timely fashion..

im a sucker like that too.. but if you dont think you can get it done than try and see if someone else can do it for you.. is anyone willing to help?

No! Do what they said - tell him your boss said you can't.

You can totally stand up for yourself. Think of what I did with FMIL last night!
