Re: Dina's Log

You have me LMAO w/ the garbage comment! It reminded me of the Seinfeld that George ate out of the garbage 'cause it was on top! LOL

Re: Dina's Log

Dina that is too funny, when I get a chicken caeser salad from BBQ's I have to dump soda on the pita bread so I don't eat it. How I miss my carbs

Re: Dina's Log

Thanks- I lost 15 lbs from November till now :)
Mexico was a Carb Fiesta ... tortillas with everything and nachos & salsa with lunch & dinner. I felt bad- bloated, heartburn and I got a breakout. This is what happens when I eat carbs.

So yes- I do miss carbs- that COSI bread is DAMN GOOD GIRLS.... but I cannot breakout anymore- I'm 27 for goodness sakes.

Re: Dina's Log

Ok I've heard of the 'liquid lunch' but liquid dinner? Girl, where is your MEAT!!

I think I eat too many snacks. What do you think? I find myself grabbing something all the time. One good thing is I never get to the point where I'm starving.

Re: Dina's Log

I read somewhere that you should do a low carb, low cal day and then a higher carb, higher cal day and then a higher carb, low ccal day, etc.. just to break it up.
snacking is good- often times I don't eat enough b/c I'm never really hungry!

Re: Dina's Log

I have been trying to find fennel in the supermarket for the past two weeks. I was watching the Barefoot Contessa on FoodTV (Love Her!) and she was making it roasted with other veggies. I also heard the girls here talking about it here around the holidays. So now I have to try the stuff. Did you get it in your regular supermarkets produce aisle? Thanks!

Re: Dina's Log

Yes- in the regular supermarket aisle- you shouldn't have a problem- it's all over the place- usually next to celery since it looks the same. I eat it raw- i love the stuff :)

Re: Dina's Log

So the snow storm made me a carb-eating, sugar snacking junky. I broke into my Russel Stover valentine's heart and ate 1/2 of it while sitting in front of the TV at 2.30 watching a Wedding Story... I'm such a dork

The good news is I shoveled for like 2 hours yesterday so hopefully it didnt' do too much damage.

Re: Feb 2/20

I'm losing all control. All morning I have been craving a donut. A very sweet, sticky, lands in your stomach like a bomb donut.

But you on the other hand, are doing FABULOUS!

I'm going to make taco fixin's tonight and have them in lettuce shells like you suggested.
