I cant get past 2-7

Here's what I do: When you first start, don't start seating people right away. Let them get a little angry and wait for a line to form. Then seat people. Wait until they're all ready to order so you can make a chain. Serve them all at the same time, for another chain. If there's a podium, this is the point when I go and wave to the line for a bit. Keep waving until the heart bursts and every gets happy again. Give everybody their bills for another chain. Don't clean tables until everybody's gotten their bill. The clean the tables for another chain. Go to the podium (if there is one) and wave some more to make everybody happy again. Keep waving while you seat people and until everybody's ready to order and go through the process again. You don't need to fill every table if there's a lot of tables. Chains of 4 or 5 tables usually rack up very good points. If the people at the tables are happy and the people on the line aren't, don't worry about the people at the tables and wave to the people on the line or vice versa. If there's a beverage available and the people at the table are starting to get really upset, always give them a beverage for some extra happiness. Oh, and if you take everybody's orders as soon as they're ready, their happiness fills up quite a bit and also if you give them their bill as soon as they're ready, the same thing happens. So if you're waving to the crowd and the people at the tables get a little upset, don't worry, you can fill their happiness right back up by either taking their order or giving them their bill quickly. No problem! As you can see, I've become quite addicted and I found a system that usually works. I beat the game the other day and now I'm try to get expert on every level. So far so good.

OMG!!!! I can't believe how many people are playing now!!!!

Butterflybride....What great tips!!!! It took me a month to win the whole game....you are GOOD!!!

It's amazing how easy it is to get addicted to games like these. I'm a big gamer and I'm especially good at 'thinking games' like this one.

I don't know what the next game can be, but we should all look and get some ideas

I just finmsihed the whole game in 2 sittings. it was pretty easy once I realized

1) do NOT seat people as soon as the come in, and don't seat them in the order they come in..you cna basically let old people stay there forever

2) chaining checks gives a LOT of points.


What I do is I wait and I try to get a decent sized well matched crowd...if there's a podium I start the game at the podium while I wait, and everytime when I'm loading tables..if I have to doa mix, I put old people, then college kids, then regular people, then businesswomen, then hot shots. That seems to work out well.

Take all the orders at once, then give out all the food at once, while they're eating, go to the podium (even if it means some peopl will have to wait a few seconds for the check), then collect all the checks, then podium again, then collect the dishes, then back to the podium while you figure out where to seat people and seat them. Toward the end the podium becomes really important because peope will lose hearts quickly at the table when you're trying to serve a lot of people, so you want them to have as many as possible when they get to the table.

Don't get too caught up with the crab sticks and bread..they give good points, but it's not worth it if you lose people..you lose a LOT of points by losng a table.


and he's a little cheat...you know when they make that horrible angry face before they are about to leave? if you grab them as if you're going to seat them, while you go to the podium and talk, they can't leave until you drop them, and so you hold tem until you're done at the podium and you've refilled your hearts, so you won't lose the customers.

And only do as many tables as you can. Chains are good, but not if you have to break them. Don't worry about filling up the restaraunt, as long as you keep the people on line happy, they won't leave and you get the same amount of customers no matter how slowly you do it.

And yes, even if you first get a whole group of elderly people, you can basically save them for the end. I find in some levels, you'll get a whole bunch of elderly people, and what'll happen is that as soon as you seat them, a whole group of impatient businesswomen will come. So just spend the first part of each level at the podium until you get a good group..but if you stagger tham 9as I said above), you can get a good group mixing anyone..you just have to make sure you give elderly people time before you sit the businesswomen beccause of the difference in ordering time.

you ALWAYS want to be at the podium, no matter what, and you always want to chain checks,


use drnks if the heart level gets too low, but if the people at the tables are at mid to high hearts, you won't lose them while talking at the podium, so don't worry. Also, as a previous poster said, if you anticipate their moves and get the order or the check very quickly after they ask for it, you will get a hearts boost.

It's funny.. First Dh looks at me playing and says 'You have problems'. Then later on he goes 'Can I try?' Guess what... he's more addicted than I am now.

The game is super fun though, I actually should go back and try to get expert scores on all the levels. but once I finally completed the 5th restaurant I was so happy to just FINISH I couldn't fathom going back for more!! LOL

I just went back to get an 'expert' on one of the levels and I chained the checks...I got soo many points!! What a great tip! Thanks
