I know Salmon is more popular, but the Mahi Mahi sounds so good.....Do you think people will go for it?

Mahi Mahi is delicious but people tend to shy away from it. i wanted to have LI duck served at the wedding instead of a chicken dish and people freaked

I personally don't like salmon, and I think that more people like white fish than other types. I believe mahi mahi is a white fish so as long as your menu has a description that says that, I think people will go for it! I would!

If you want to make them, I can help you. I made a sample of mine already - it's in my album - it was really easy! Let me know.

I would have personally liked mahi mahi, but I chose salmon. I think it depends on the people you have invited -- do they eat out a lot, know different types of fish? If you have a conservative crowd food wise, they might be unfamiliar with mahi mahi. Salmon is always pretty safe.

I do not like eating fish - Salmon to me has a strong smell but mahi mahi is supposed to be a light - white fish.

I only made one but it was just two pieces of cardstock. You can get cheaper cardstock, use a coupon, whatever. I think The cardstock I used was ... 59 cents for the backing, and 39 cents for the main sheet?? Not sure. I would think it would cost $50 or so (including an ink cartridge cuz you'll use a lot). I think you can get two menus out of each piece of paper.
HOWEVER a much cheaper and quicker option is to have one menu on each table - you can put it in a frame near the centerpieces, and the table number (you can have it on the other side of the centerpiece, and people can pass it around). This is easy, fast and a nice touch!
We'll discuss over wine and pizza
