we were throwing around the idea of a dinner cruise around NY harbor for our rehearsal dinner. Fh really wants it, but I am worried if people will get seasick or that it will be bad for the grandparents because they will be cooped up on the boat the whole time and not be able to leave. Any thoughts or opinions on that idea?

Re: dinner cruise for RD?
I love the idea - it's really different and fun.
But I get seasick so I know I would be really worried about it also you have to worry about weather. But you have to worry about that with just about anything but in the case you are in the middle of the water.

I really like this idea.. I would just make sure that you do it at least 2 days before the wedding.. If someone did get sea sick the night before the wedding they might feel crappy the next day.

i would run it past the most important people in your life and see if they would be ok with it. i get seasick and its takes me like a full day to feel better. if its like the day before the wedding i would be miserable to the next day

Re: dinner cruise for RD?
awesome idea, I didn't feel a thing when I did was on the dinner cruise some years ago. There's always stuff they can take though if they're prone to seasickness.
