My dh and I could not get a sitter this weekend so we decided we would take the kids out to dinner tonight. I have been looking online at menus and restaurants. Can anyone give me suggestions? Thanks!

DH and I took my stepson to Macaroni Grill a few weeks ago and he loved it. It was pretty cool, they have the table covered in paper and they give the kids crayons to color all over the top of it. My stepson and DH and I really enjoyed the food!!

cheesecake factory, or most mexican restaurants are pretty lively with music and colorful scenery, or the The Rainforest.

They have Italian food. The wait was a little long, 2 or more hours if you just walk in but we put our name on the list so it was about an hour. It was worth it. The food was sooo good. We are so stuffed. I HAD to get dessert though, 2 cannolis (ate only one) and my dh got a strawberry/banana/spongecake dessert and it was delicious. I highly recommend the restaurant. It is on 347 in Smithtown, across the street from the Watermill.
