Dip....the restaraunt!!

Hey Guys (Gals)...a little while ago there was a post about the restaraunt Dip in Manhattan where you can actually get chocolate fondue. One of you gals posted the website, which I forwarded to my FH. We ended up going into the city today to see Beauty and the Beast (which was amazing...we had such a good time) and then he suprised me by taking me to the Dip place. We got regular chocolate fondue..which came with marshmallows, bananas, strawberries, brownies, pineapples, rice krispy treats, etc. Oh my goodness gosh...this was amazing. For all of you girls who haven't been to this place and love chocolate covered fruit, you have got to try it. I'm still drooling over it. We had such a good time.......but this place was awesome. Just thought I'd share!! Hope you all enjoy the rest of your Memorial Day weekend..one more day left for most of us

MMM....I LOVE Dip!! I've been there twice, and it is one of my fave places.

If you ever try the cheese fondue, I reccommend the cheddar...it is SO yummy!

I love the regular milk chocolate fondue. I had the peanut butter chocolate one much and didn't like it nearly as much.

yay!!!!!!!!! i was one of the pple who raved and urged every1 to go, im sooo glad u had fun, omg i want choc.fondue right now LOL!!!!!! every1 should go there!!! its a blast, so glad u had fun hun!!!

The fondue was good there. My sister used to live a few blocks from there and went there a number of times.

For some reason I always thought this place was appetizer-size meals only...can you actually get a full meal there, or is it just light fondue?

When we went there we ordered a few things and I would say that everything was more 'appetizer' in presentation - but filled me up like a great meal.

We had like the super duper Dip mix - had everything on it - it was a platter/sampler and that was really great. The atmosphere there is really nice too...

I fill up like I ate a full meal there. We usually share an appetizer, like hummus and pita or spinach dip, cheese fondue, and chocolate fondue. By the end, i'm stuffed!

I loved that place. I went a few years ago. It was so much fun for dinner, but afterwards it got kind of loud when the bar crowd came in.

Hey hey...for all of you girls who inquired about directions and information about Dip, you can check it out at www.dipnyc.com. Gives you a brief overview of the place and you can sorta see what it looks like. It was soooo good. I still can't stop talking about it. You definitely can order appetizers and substitute that for dinner. They have salads and all sorts of stuff....big portions. My FI and I strictly got the plain chocolate fondue..but people on surrounding tables had huge portions of food. It's a fun place, would be fun for a party of any sort. If you like chocolate, that makes it even better. It was scrumptious!! Hope I twisted some more of you into going :P Enjoy!!
