Direction Cards ??
The hall and the hotel provided direction cards. The church does not provide them. I went to Staples at lunch and they had nothing that I could use. Any suggestions? What has everyone else done?

Re: Direction Cards ??
I had them printed with my invites. I made a set on vellum myself because I thought they would be insanely expensive but when I found out they were only a nominal fee, I just paid it.

we printed them ourselves on nice cardstock, so all directions were in one place.

Re: Direction Cards ??
i had the same problem...here's what i did...i went to staples and bought a box of plastic ID badges...the inserts where the name would be printed are the perfect size for direction cards...(you just throw away the plastic ID badge holders)...in Word, you go to Tools-Envelopes and Labels-Labels-Options and choose the badges from the menu. This will format everything so that it will print correctly...type up the directions once, copy and past into the other two boxes on the page and then print off as many copies as you need....send me forum email if you need help....good luck!!

Re: Direction Cards ??
I bought nice ivory bond paper that matched my invites. Typed and cut them myself (4 to a page). I put a cute church clip art on them and made them pretty.I got lots of compliments. People couldn't believe I did them myself and they were simple to do. If you want I can email the doc to you. You can type over your info and use whatever Letter size paper you choose. If you are interested, send me your email address via forum mail.

We have our own wedding website so we put the website address in with the invitations. You can click on the address to get the directions.

zapco products is a company that carries all sizes of die-cut card stock from table tents to placecards to postcards that seem to be the perfect size for direction cards. their website is www.zapcopaper.com. If you call the 1800 number they will give you the name of a company that sells their products.

Re: Direction Cards ??
online directions only work if everyone has online access to a computer and printer. I know the older relatives at my wedding would not have been able to get the directions and others would have to print them out. I sisn't want to put that obligation on the guests - I wanted to make it as easy for them as possible. We had directions online, but also included direction cards with all the invites.

Re: Direction Cards ??
I had my calligrapher make me double sided direction cards to match my invite set. I gave her the directions. Just drive it and calculate the mileage and write the directions. Then have them printed up.Welcome New Vendors
