Direction Cards for Invites?

Direction Cards for Invites?

Just to get a general idea, do people normally just put the ones that the church/reception hall gives out, or do you have it printed to match the invites? Thanks!

i have noticed that a lot of brides on here get them made to match the invitation - especially when they are doing pocketfolds - so everything matches...i actually never saw that done until LIW - every invite we received just had the direction card from the venue - i was on the fence with having a direction card made but decided to just use the direction card the RH provides - same for the hotel...

I just used the one provided by the RH...I'd be too worried that my directions would be incorrect and people would get lost.

I've seen direction cards letter pressed....

but I think you should do what makes sense to you. I'm just going to print them for pocketfolds like I see the very stylish smart girls here do.

My RH and church didn't provide reception cards so I made my own. I put the time and directions to the church on one side and the time and directions to the RH on the other. I bought nice paper from Kate's Paperie (in the city) and got them printed out at Staples.

We were going to get ones that matched our invitations but we didn't get to do it for timing reasons. So we had printable/downloadable maps on our wedding website, and had copies in the OOT guest bags at the hotel as well as at the Church.
