direction help!!!

I need directions to the NJ turnpike. Everytime i go to mapquest it tells me to go throguh the midtown tunnel. I know tha there is way to go via outerbridge crossing. DOes any body have the exact direction I will be coming from the southern state parkway...

Did you want to go over the Throggs Neck or Whitestone to the GWB?

we are going to dewey beach, de So we need to get to the Delaware Bridge... The funny thing is I went to Delaware but I haven't been there in years so i forgot...

We want to take the outerbridge....

Take the southern state to the Belt Parkway. Get on the Verrazano Bridge and take 287 through Staten Island. Follow signs for the Outerbridge, then after the Outerbridge follow signs to the NJ Turnpike.

No, take 278 through staten island! They get confusing!

I went to U of D and these are my directions...

DIRECTIONS TO Delaware

Southern State Parkway - West
After exit 13 Southern State forks - take left fork to BELT PARKWAY
Take Belt Parkway to EXIT 3 - VERRAZANO BRIDGE
Go over the bridge - Pay toll - and stay straight ahead
onto RT 278 WEST
Take 278 west to GOETHALS BRIDGE
Go over bridge - when you get off bridge, stay to the left
to NJ TURNPIKE
After getting a toll ticket for NJ turnpike, move to the right and take
NJ TURNPIKE - SOUTH
Take NJ TURNPIKE south all the way to the end - approx 95 miles
Pay toll
Keep going straight ahead to DELAWARE MEMORIAL BRIDGE
Go over bridge - pay toll
