Disappointed

So, I had a appointment to meet with a videographer tonight after work. I live on the border of Nassau/Queens and was going to drive out to Bohemia for this meeting...and he just cancelled now, saying that he won't be available for my wedding. I understand that things happen, and in a way, this is nice because I am so indecisive and have been trying to decide between two companies for video--both had nice portfolios and gave me identical pricing--so, this made my decision for me. But, I'm just annoyed because I planned my evening around this appointment and cancelled other plans to meet with this guy. Ah well, I guess I have another check complete! There's always a silver lining! LOL

Good thing he called ahead of time, I would have been livid to drive all the way out this way for no reason! lol

Yeah, if I had gone out there I would have been crazy pissed. I really liked the video person I met with last week, so I'm happy to go with her. I just didn't want to jump on the first person I met with. But I guess things happen for a reason.

And the best part is that I can go straight home after work and see FH tonight!

Thanks Angie! I think I'm going to surprise him and take him out for dinner tonight since he's still not supposed to watch TV or go to the movies or anything where he has to focus or concentrate. There's this little bbq spot in Mineola that he loves, so I'm going to take him out for some fried catfish and mac & cheese. I will, of course, be eating a boring salad--for real this time! LOL.

That is terrible. Sorry to hear that. My cousins videographer is awesome and their work is amazing. You should call and try them. They have great reviews.

Thanks Mel! I had heard really good things about Pete, so I was surprised. But, happily, I emailed Jessica from Capture the Moment and she responded to me right away. So, I'm officially booked with her. I am relieved and excited!
