I booked with Chateau Briand, recently went to their tasting and was drastically disappointed. I'm worried. I did not like the food. It was bland, poorly presented and cold. I know my guests' taste in food and I am 100% that it doesn't match with what the CB is offering. Can anyone please give me any ideas. My wedding is next year. thanks.

I've been there quite a few times and always the food is out of this world!
when dh and i were looking into rh, we went for a tasting, i guess u gotta ask for a tasting...

Thank you everyone for your advise. Spoke with BM-Susan, she is wonderful!!!!!!! Will have a 2nd tasting and we will discussion different menu options. Feel so much better. Thanks!![]()

Does the CB do tasting before you sign a contract? There is NO WAY, i'm signing anything without trying the food....esp since i've heard mixed reviews.

But do they charge a cancelation fee if i say that i dont wanna hold the wedding there if the food stinks?
really? i always hear such great reviews about their food. that is not to say that what you experienced was not up to par. i would definately express my concerns to them and go for another tasting and take it from there

the food is great, prob a off day was there aparty going on? i had a tasting before signing we tasted what the party was having and everythimg was great, it might have been what the guests choose
