disappointed in a lot of people...

this whole wedding thing is really taking a toll on me...

i'm really disappointed in a lot of people.

I felt like that a couple of times throughout the planning process, and it was all because of my own immediate family. Hang in there, it will pass and on that day you will all come together

dont worry i feel like we all go through it.. i have rolled my eyes on a lot of things happening around me.. and im moving on-- im focusing on the good around me and getting rid of the toxic people life is too short!
A lot of people have surprised me in good ways and a lot not so good- but the people that want to help and listen will and those are the people that matter..

i feel like i have been disappointed by a lot of people who are supposedly very close to me, which hurts even more.

a few people (like my parents and one friend) have exceeded my expectations though, so it helps balance things out a little....

Thats great that you have people like that in your life. Focus on the positive and don't worry, its going to be the best day ever! I promise it will all be worth it!

I have come to realize that having and planning a wedding is a emotional rollercoaster from H E L L!!! Sometimes I think you ladies her are what keeps me grounded when the craziness hits.

I do hate the whole 'it gets better cliche' but it does...then it gets worse again... then better... just realize the wedding day will be the BESTEST (At least that is what the Ladies here tell me)!!!

i feel like this too at times--but i remember that its about me and fh and thats it...i told you about my situation jenn-it is terrible....but those that matter in the end will be there for you for you! ps i loveeeeeeeee your diy favors-so adorable!!

i def. know how you feel!! don't worry hun..we've all been there. Try and focus on the people who have been there through the planning!!! even though i know It can be frustrating ...especially when the people closest to you who you've done a lot for don't come through...!! hang in there!!!

Awww I'm sorry you feel that way! I started to feel that way and then just tried to focus on doing things myself and have very very low expectations of everyone else so they can't disappoint. Works better sometimes than others.

I hope everyone steps up for you and does what they should.

I feel the same way!! Some people are interested in every detail & some people act like they can't be bothered!! Meanwhile I do so much for everyone all the time!! WHATEVER!! I have decided not to let people ruin my wedding or my wedding plans!! I believe in Karma, what goes around comes around!!

I am SOOO with you on this! It's so hurtful because it's people I never would have expected to do these things. I already have one bridesmaid that I know we will lose touch after the wedding because I have seen her for who she really is in this process. I have family that I think of differently because they don't see the importance of attending my church It's all so overwhelming and disappointing. My FH just keeps trying to keep me from going nuts by telling me that the only thing that REALLY matters is that we will finally be husband and wife and we are going to move on with our own life after this. I just hate it when people can't remember how it was when they were getting married. And these people only got married in the last year or two! I hope I never forget it and make sure that when one of my friends get married in a year, or two, or five - I will show them the same excitment as I wanted from my friends....
