Hi girls. I'm hoping some of you might have some advice. I booked my wedding at the tvi two months ago. I really liked the place but hadn't tasted the food until their showcase last night. I was very disappointed, lots of the food was cold and the vast majority just wasn't very good. I wasn't expecting food like in a great restaurant, just above average wedding food. My mom thinks that somehow the food will be better at the actual wedding, but I'm doubtful. Anyone have any experience with actual weddings vs.. showcases? Thanks in advance!

What time did you get there? I was there and all the food was hot and tasted good to me. I am booked there as well.

I am glad you liked it! I got there before seven but, to be fair, did spend some time talking with the vendors first. Maybe you need together there ASAP?

I went straight for the food They have a great reputation for there food so i'm sure it will be fine. There were a few things they served that i do not even see on there menu so i'm a little confused, i'm going to have to talk to them. I would go to another expo there to ease your doubts.

At any place the food will be to perfection on the day of the wedding vs the showcase. They care but at the wedding they care a whole lot more! Dont worry!

Thanks ladies! I feel better now. It was kind of crazy there with so many people trying everything- so I'm thinking the actual wedding will be more organized and timed better. I still love the look and atmosphere of the place!

Wow I'm surprised, I love their food! I was at the showcase last Nov and had a totally different experience. I hear only good things about their food:) maybe go back to the restaurant one night with your FH for peace of mind ....but I wouldn't worry about it :)

My cousin was married there in September. We ate at the restaurant the night before and the food was excellent. Same goes for the night of the wedding. Food was delish. And, the wedding itself was awesome! I love the quaint feel, and if you booked the cottage with 2 bathrooms and fireplace, you will love it. Such a nice place!
I kept saying that if she didn't get married there, I would have booked it for my wedding.
