Disappointment with Etsy

I have so far ordered 4 things from Etsy and I am so disappointed. I ordered a wedding hanger and that vendor stole my money and closed up shop, then I ordered a boutique charm for my wedding bouquet and that came out great so I thought ok maybe it was just that one vendor so I order customized cards for my girls and they came out wonderful and just when I thought Etsy was good I order personalized wine glasses for my girls and they arrived the other day looking like a kindergarten class project. They were stickers on the wine glasses not hand painted. There was nothing on the listing saying they were stickers. I asked the vendor if I could return them and she said yes but will only give me back half of what I spent So FH said forget it we will do it ourselves. So today we start the process of soaking all the glasses and getting the stickers off and tomm we will go to Michaels and buy glass paint and do it ourselves.....so much for trying to avoid a DIY project I have to have these done by Thursday night because that is when I have dinner with my girls and Im giving them the glasses with a bottle of wine.

Ugh, that's frustrating. I always look at how the seller is rated on etsy and read a bunch of feedback. I found cool double decker wedding hangers for the MOB and MOG that were inexpensive, but when I read her feedback (a ton said she was super late and disorganized, etc.) I decided against using her. Don't let the 2 bad experiences stop you from using it again though, there are some really great vendors on there.
