Discouraged.

Everything is so expensive!!! Even though FH & I agreed we werent going to book anything else until after our eparty in June, I've been researching vendors and getting price quotes...well theyre sooo expensive. I'm the crazy one who is trying to get things as cheap as possible, cause we're on quite a budget...I mean, I'm trying to find decent photographers & videographers for around $1000-1500....

siiiiiiigh....had to vent a lil

i know what you mean, me and fh are paying for the wedding ourselves so i'm on a tight budget too. Eveytime i look at prices for vendors i want to everything is so expensive. We decided to find a photographer for around 2000, but we're having a friend do the video, since it wasnt that important to us.

things are really expensive!
I guess there's two way of looking at it...booking in advance gives time to make monthly payments
and waiting sometimes can give the vendor the upper hand....cause they know you need them

FH and I made a budget..we both bring food to work and school, like lunches and stuff and we also give ourselvces only one night a week to go out and have dinner as opposed to every night on the weekend

DON'T forget to haggle with those vendors!!!!!

we used a photographer for our eparty (she also took some engagement shots for us) and she was really sweet.....i dont know how much she charges for weddings but im pretty sure she is reasonable....if you dont find anyone you can always check her out....
