I know we've all had AT LEAST one diva/bridezilla moment... Dare to share ladies?

Re: Dish About Your Diva Moment
When I told my bridesmaid she is not to have pink hair at my wedding. Fri night we were at happy hour and I merely suggested she start growing it out now. We comprised and if it still bright pink, shes gonna have to get a wig.

sounds like a fair compromise, did you make it clear that the wig must be a 'normal' hair color?

I think I made myself clear when I suggested she start growing it out. I might have been a bit tipsy and it came out more or less like 'Female dog u best not have pink hair for my wedding' I think we all get what I meant by female dog.

Re: Dish About Your Diva Moment
I have had a few tiffs w/my parents about things but I wouldn't consider them bridezilla moments b/c its not my parents wedding.
The ONLY thing I am putting my foot down about and I have yet to do it regarding my ladies is that they must NOT have tan lines. I can not handle them and honestly, I feel they ruin pics so, I dont care if they spray or fakin' bakin' but as long as they are all one consistent color we are all good.

Re: Dish About Your Diva Moment
So the only 'moment' I've had so far has been with my dress... The FH and I agreed on a budget for all of my 'Bridal Essentials' (dress, shoes, hair, makeup, etc....) So I went shopping, found my dress and my parents disagreed, they said it was too much money and the dress wasn't worth it, but because my FH and I are paying for it I put my foot down :) teehee

I told my girls..NO STRAIGHT HAIR.. I don't care what they do with their hair.. but blowing hair out and leaving it down is NOT an option :)

Re: Dish About Your Diva Moment
Hmmm I think I've been extremely accomodating to everyone. My mom keeps coming up with DIY projects and saying they were my idea. Sure, I said 'Hey that's cute' but that's a far cry from 'How can we do this ourselves?' Her recent project is she's making a black and white damask room divider and I don't like how it's coming out. I said I just don't like it (in the NICEST way possible) and my mom and my aunt rant on and on for 10 minutes about what a biatch and bridezilla I am. Naturally I consider it 'bridezilla behavior' to disagree with anyone. So finally I pursed my lips and said 'Fine, but I want you both to know that this is YOUR baby, if you don't want my opinions, I want nothing to do with it. This wasn't my idea in the first place.' And then they realized I was annoyed and tried to include me in the work and I just kept saying 'Whatever you like.' That's about as bridezilla as I've gotten thus far.

Re: Dish About Your Diva Moment
French mani/pedis, no extra jewlery other than the doj, NO WATCHES!
And absolutely NO PANTYLINES!!! Then FHs 14yo cousin who's a BM said, 'whats that?' I turned to her and said either you wear a thong or go comando!! Hahahaha
Oh and I instructed FHs mother to spread the word that this is a formal affair and everyone should be dressed appropriately (no jeans!)

Re: Dish About Your Diva Moment
ive been really good so far!!!
i dont care what my bms wear or how they do they hair
none of them would EVER EVER have tan lines, thank god so i dont have to worry about that
i like the no panty lines rule! I didn't think of that
I think the only Diva moment I had was when I picked a dress way over budget
that and demanding FH let us get married at the Planting Fields instead of RH

Re: Dish About Your Diva Moment
HaHa...I would def. call it diva moments, I don't like bridezilla lol it reminds me to much of the show and sometimes those girls are NUTS. Anyway, I need everything to be perfect, so all of my DIY projects I am doing on my own and no one can help me. Because if they mess up I can yell and *itch at them, if they don't help, I have no one to *itch at. Although I will prob. find a reason!!

Re: Dish About Your Diva Moment
closest thing i got to a bridezilla/diva moment was insisting that all the bm dresses be long.... everyone had a different opinion and i couldn't make everyone happy so i just said.....they have to be LONG, deal with it! ur getting to pick ANY STYLE u want!
i think i've been MORE than accomodating!

Re: Dish About Your Diva Moment
My bridesmaids were picking their own dresses, and of course my sister (MOH) wants to get something that's different and really stands out. Everything she picked I didn't like and I had to remind her that the only person who should really stand out is ME since I am the bride and all.
