Dish washing advice for you from my FH

Original post by Toucan311

Here's a dish cleaning fact that FH made me aware of tonite.

I made mini-pizzas tonite. I usually cover my baking pans w/the reynolds release foil so that I can avoid cleaning them, but sometimes a little food gets on the pan. This was the case tonite, and so I started to wash the pan. FH abruptly stopped me, and informed me that I didn't have to wash the pan, that excess food would eventually burn off in the oven! So girls, instead of washing your dishes, just throw them all in a hot oven and let the food burn right off. I have a whole load in there now. I might even broil them just to make sure they're extra clean.

I think this may be his way of getting out of doing the dishes... Hm....

In my house if Fh uses it the best way to clean it is to leave it in the sink 'soaking' cause it gets clean better. ( by me of course) or ... Paper plates are 'in' the thing now.
God bless the person who invented the dishwasher
