We are going to Disney World too for our honeymoon... if you go to honeymoonregistry.disney.go.com you can register there (we did)... If not, it will give you some fun, romantic things you can do to make it more 'honeymoon like'... What hotel are you staying in?

Re: Disney
We decided to do 2 honeymoons: 1 week in Aruba and then 1 week in Disney. Best of both worlds and still reasonable.
Definitely get the meal plan. Well worth it. Includes 1 snack, lunch and dinner each day. Dinner is at a ton of real restaurants and you get a appitizer, entree, dessert and beverage.
We are staying at the Fort Wilderness Lodge, but there are a ton of other (even nicer places).
I am definitely not going to be wearing the bride and groom mouse ears though!
Have u been to Disney recently? It's lots of fun and can be romantic!
They also have the cruises now. 1/2 time on the cruise. 1/2 time at Disney. Maybe that would be a compromise?

Anyone have any suggestions on what to do/where to stay in Disneyworld? I am not looking forward to going but FH is totally excited about it.
I want it to be like a honeymoon not a kiddie vacation. Please help
Disney is an amazing place. Out of all the places Ive stayed, I personally like the Carribean beach resort the best. it is very secluded. We stayed at the floridian, dolphin, swan, but I really did not like them as much...
The best thing to do when youre there is to pick one park a day, and know when the shows are for each. Spectromagic is amazing and so are the fireworks in Magic Kingdom. Animal kingdom, do right in the middle of your stay, its a short day, and defintiely do Rainforest cafe (GREAT food)
Ive planned my vacations, parents, cousins etc so if you need any help let me know!! I LOVE planning disney trips!

Re: Disney
If youre going for more honeymoon and less kiddy-ish, I'd say check out the Grand Floridian.

My FH and I are staying there too! We are driving down for 10 days though... Meal plan-definitly worth the money... We were going to go Sandels Antigua but it's right in the middle of Septemeber (Hurricane season), so we decided to do just disney for now and then go to Antigua in November... Bride and Groom Mickey ears are a must!!! Enjoy!

Wow---we'll both be staying there at the same time. We are getting married on 9/7 and going to Aruba first, then Disney. Who knows---we'll probably be staying across the hall from each other.

LOL thats to funny!! I didn't think too many people did Disney honeymoons and to my suprise you're not only going but you're going at the same time AND staying at the same hotel!! They probably have the HM rooms right next to each other so I bet we are next to each other lol

Re: Disney
We just came back from our Disney HM we were there for 2 weeks! Had a blast and to my surprise it was not at all kiddie-ish...... We stayed off Disney about 5 mins from everything...Hilton Grand Vacations Club. It was awesome we had our own villa with kitchen so we didnt have to spend too much $$ eating out. The hotel had a Tuscany vibe to it so it was romantic!! Like I said we had a blast ...can't wait to go again

Re: Disney
FH and I went to Disney last year and it was the most romantic vacation ever. I go to Disney every year so I have a ton of tips but here's so romance tips for your HM
Stay at the Polynesian by far the most romantic hotel on Disney Property
Have a private dinner set up on the beach of the Grand Floridian
Take a carriage ride through the wilderness at Fort Wilderness Lodge
Schedule a private fireworks cruise
Share a kitchen sink sundaee at Beaches and Cream
Have dinner in Mexico in Epcot - very romantic restaraunt - (the sitdown one - not the fast food one)
The list can go on and on so if you need any help please ask!
Once my wedding planning is complete I am actually starting my own Disney Travel Site so I'll be happy to help you
