Disney Cruise

I was wondering if anyone has ever taken the Disney Cruise---there are a couple--one goes to the BAHAMAS & another one goes all around the Carribean I think. We are thinking of doing this for our Honeymoon but I wanted some feedback--I'm leery of a cruise for our honeymoon because all the meals and everything you are with other people and not alone---do you think this is even a factor to consider??? Also-how far in advance do you have to book it?? thanks!!

maybe I should post this on the newlywed board as well!!

Re: Disney Cruise

The disney crusies are nice and a lot of fun, but remember there will be a whole lot of families. If I remember correctly you do share tables with other guests. There are some cruise lines that give you a choice about sitting with a group or by yourselves. I know that Norwegian does and I think Holland America does too.

Re: Disney Cruise

I was thinking the same thing as Heidla - you'll be spending your HM with lots of kids running around!!! I think Cruises are awesome, but I'm not sure about a Disney Cruise for a HM. JMO!!! As for the seating, most cruise lines do offer 2-person tables.

Re: Disney Cruise

Maybe consider one that has half cruise/ half the time at a disney resort? Some of the resorts are really nice and adult oriented as opposed to lots of kids... I would look into it that way maybe you could have some private dinners and such.

Re: Disney Cruise

Disney Cruises are full of families with children. I would try Royal Caribbean or another line for your HM.

Re: Disney Cruise

Disney Cruise means little kids. try a Royal Carribean or Carnivel Cruise, more fun. You can request dinner for 2 also.
