We are going to Disney for the second half of our honeymoon and bringing along both families. FH's little sister has never been to Disney so we wanted to book a character meal for everyone. Right now I am thinking of Chef Mickey's Buffet at the Contemporary, does anyone have any experience with the character dining and have any idea whether I picked a good one?

My sister and her husband are Disney Fanatics and they love that breakfast! In fact, they were just over yesterday and said that was their favorite breakfast!

I went to the NICEST breakfast at the top of Cinderella's castle in the Magic Kingdom. The breakfast is yummy and all of the princesses walk around in costume and you can take pics with them. You can also take a picture with the wicked stepmother down in the lobby of the castle. Here's a pic...

You definitely picked the right one. You can see the Magic Kingdom from the windows in the Contemporary and then take the monorail right over! It's quite a view and the food is great too!
My second choice would be the one at Cinderella's Castle.

def. go with Park fare at the contempory its the best one, I know a ton about dinsey, been a million times and know alot about the unadvertised things at disney, FM if you need any help planning!!!

Chef Mickey's was awsome!!! I went to Disney for the 1st time when I was twenty one. We went to have dinner the 1st night at Chef Mickey's and got to meet many characters. You can also purchase an autograph book in that area so that she can get autographs from the characters. My family enjoyed staying at the Contemporary. It's really nice. FH and I are looking forward to HM there. We will be staying at Port Orleans French Quarter this time. We heard so much good about this hotel too.

I highly recommend the Princesses breakfast at Cinderella's castle for any little girl. We took my niece years ago. You get to meet ALL the princesses, and Prince Charming, too. We asked him some rude questions when the kids couldn't hear. We're awful! My nephew was embarassed, though, I had to pay him to pose with Snow White and Cinderella. And the food was pretty good, too.

Cinderella's castle is a definite! Chef Mickeys is Awesome - Also in the magic kingdom they have something with winnie the pooh and friends- i have never been to it but i heard it's wonderful!

I went to Chef Mickey's year ago with my fam-almost 10 years ago actually and we had THE BEST time! LOL we have pics of my dad swinging around his napkin and pics of me as I got hit on by Goofy and his kid, max? LOL SOOO funny. They took my autograph book from me and made me kiss each of their noses as they tossed it back and forth lol then grabbed my dad and made him give a kiss too! LMAO it was one of the best times that my family's been all together.
