Disney fans: favorite ride?

Disney fans: favorite ride?

I'm reading the Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World and they're talking about the most popular rides. I haven't been to WDW since I was 14, but I was at disney land a couple of years ago. I know it's corny, but my favorite ride is 'It's a Small World After All.' It has been since I was a little kid. I can't wait to see the rennovations!

At Epcot, my favorite was always Journey into your imagination with Figment! I wonder if going to change now that I'm an supposedly adult

I haven't been on a lot of those rides. When I was 14 and finally interested in Space Mountain and Splash Mountain, my parents wouldn't go with me. I've never been on the roller coasters at MGM, and I've never been to Animal Kingdom at all!

Aerosmith roller coaster but at Disney there's no 1 ride. I love the runaway train, pirates, and splash mountain! Now I'm itching to go to Disney!

Re: Disney fans: favorite ride?

All time favorite would have to be Haunted Mansion.

I also LOVE Spaceship Earth. I had a dream last night that they totally changed it and it sucked and I was so sad.

A lot of my favorites aren't the 'must see attractions'..I just like em cause they're dorky..

I'm going to list what I consider to be favroties AND must sees, and then at the end I'll tell you what I just like b/c I'm dorky.

Magic Kingdom

Mickey's Philharmagic!
The Haunted Mansion
Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin (it's a ride AND a video game...)
Splash Mountain
I haven't been on it, but Stitch's great escape

Those are just the most awesome.
I'm not in love with them, but people also like the other mountains,
Space Mountain and
BigThunder Mtn RR.

I LOVE Rollercoasters and I don't get motion sickness easily and Space mountain makes me want to hurl if I take the left track. When you get to the point where the line splits (there's a display case w. an astronaut in it), if you go to the left track, it's better, IMO..not as jerky. But if you like the Cyclone, by all means take the left track.

Also, the rides I would NEVER leave Disney without going on are

The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (SO fun)
Snow White's Scary Adventures (I love it)
and the classics like DUMBO and the caroussel
Pirates of the Caribbean
The Enchanted Tiki Room has grown on me

Stuff I like at MK cause I'm a DORK:
TTA (Tomorrowland Transit Authority) it's the blue thing that goes around tomorrowland. It basically just goes around in a circle, but ot goes inside space mountain (SO COOL) and you can see the inside of the stich ride, the store and buzz lightyear ride. And it has such pretty views of the castle, especially at night. Also, there's often no one on it, so you can get some quiet time to ta;lka nd sneak kisses in the dark

And I LOVE Carosel of Progress. it's sort of educatinal . it's from the 1964 world's fair. it's cheesy and most people think it's boring, but you get to sit for 20 min and for some reason I just love it.

Things I think you can defintiely miss at MK:
Jungle Cruise (I'd rather just go in the safari at AK)
Aladdin (just like dumbo)
The Timekeeper's ok
CountryBears is pretty blah
the hall of presidents is a snooze and a half.

EPCOT

I LOVE Spaceship Earth
it's educational and needs to be updated but I can't help loving it.

Test Track
Mission: Space
Honey I Shrunk the Audience

Figment is cute.,..they've updated it a bit, oh and the Maelstrom (norway) is cool.

Ellen's Energy Adventure is really long, but the dinosaur part is really a lot of fun.

Living with the land is cute, but last time I was there they had closed it

SKIP
El Rio Del Tiempo. It's basically just a really offensive travel ad for Mexico.

MGM

Aerosmith's Rock N Rollercoaster
Tower of Terror
I also LOVE the Beauty and the Beast show.
Fantasmic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Star Tours is fun, but makes me sick

Muppetvision 3D is cute

SKIP: Sounds Dangerous with Drew Carey TOTALLY stupid and boring

Animal Kingdom

Kilimanjaro Safaris
Kali River Rapids
Dinosaur
Prehistoric..ok I totally forget what it's called..it's in the kiddie amusement park neat Dinosaur.

The Lion King show is GREAT

Also, at EPCOT I LOVE the bands OFF KILTER (at the canda pvaillion) and the beates Cover Band which once again eludes me.

ANyway, HTH

At Pleasure Island I LOVE Comedy Warehouse and Adventurer's Club
