Where did you buy your Disney tickets from? Online? Disney Store? When you got to Orlando? Going to see a timesharing, etc. for a discount? We might do this, but I can't see spending $800 on tickets for the two of us. I see some places online for 5 day passes for $150, but I don't trust that they're legit....

Disney has a new system in terms of ticketing where you insert your ticket and place your fingerprints on a touchpad, then go through. So, I would stay away form anything that sounds too good to be true, ticketwise. We ended up buying them through disney.com

I always but through ticketmania.com. They have great discounts and are a very reputable business in orlando, down the block from Universal Studios. Also check mousesavers.com for discounts.

We did the same thing, we bought tickets through Disney.com.
We did the timeshare presentation and just took the cash option (and ended up with a timeshare actually).

If you are planning on traveling back to Florida within the year, it might be more beneficial to buy season passes. We are going to Disney for our Honeymoon and just recently bought our season passes because we are going to Florida for a week in the Summer and a week in December. It is going to work out better for us that way and if you travel to Florida frequently, it might be for you as well.

definetely buy them online. even go to mousesavers.com now they're running a special where you get a free meal plan and thats BIG. dont go to the disney store. its not cheap at all.

We got ours at Disney.com when we booked our HM. I would make sure you get them from somewhere trustworthy or else you may get duped.
