Dissapointing Dress Shopping This Weekend

I went to NYC to another Trunk Show at Saks, I wanted to try on a dress i loved, for the 2nd time to see if its the one, so i trek into the city get to Saks, see Austin Scarlett, but dont see the dress hanging up on the racks.

I ask my salesperson who is a total Ahole, and she tells me its no there, and its on location at a photoshoot.

So bummed, but i spoke with Austin and he was really sorry it wasnt there, but I am going to another trunk show june 16, and will try it on again then.

Aww, I'm sorry Nicole. That stinks!

I know Denise! She's a crazed wedding-dress-hunting-woman!

I totally feel for you. I've been having quite a difficult/dissapointing time dress shopping as well....I just don't LOVE anything, I like things but I don't love....it's annoying.

What i have found is that a few times i found a dress i loved, and then after the 2nd or 3rd time i went back to try it on, i realized it was horrible on me.

It makes sense how alot of the 07 girls hated their dresses after they came in, I just want to be sure i dont want to pick the first thing, then 6 months later go to try it on and hate it.

This saturday was my fault, i should of made sure that the dress i wanted to try on again was actually going to be there, but when i called to make the appt, the lady was so rude, and rushed me off the phone.

I am sure you will find something you love that you will love EVERY time you see it! It took me many trips to many stores but then once I found 'the one' I kept looking just to make sure. This weekend I went back and I loved it even more and placed the order!!

SHE LOOKS great in mermaid dresses, and has the body for it...for a-line or ball gown i think she might be too tall plus i dont think she likes it. And the ones she has tried on fit her perfectly

Actually....you know what? That isn't such a bad idea, Nicole. Have you tried on other styles? If you keep going back and feeling like you don't like how you look in them, maybe you SHOULD just TRY another style....????

Can't hurt! I mean, I think you look great in those dresses, but maybe you should check out other dresses.

What if you did a style like mine....? It's fitted, not mermaid, but still has that slim/sexy look...?

Like something like these? I don't love these dresses for their color, design, etc....but I love their shape. Fitted, but not HUGGING....ya know?
