Dissapointing Dress Shopping This Weekend

Original post by TheFutureMrsM

I went to NYC to another Trunk Show at Saks, I wanted to try on a dress i loved, for the 2nd time to see if its the one, so i trek into the city get to Saks, see Austin Scarlett, but dont see the dress hanging up on the racks.

I ask my salesperson who is a total Ahole, and she tells me its no there, and its on location at a photoshoot.

So bummed, but i spoke with Austin and he was really sorry it wasnt there, but I am going to another trunk show june 16, and will try it on again then.

Sorry to hear..as I've said before, I think you should start trying on other styles. Maybe there is another style you'd like better. Thank God my first experience was so great or I'd go nuts!

Actually....you know what? That isn't such a bad idea, Nicole. Have you tried on other styles? If you keep going back and feeling like you don't like how you look in them, maybe you SHOULD just TRY another style....????

Can't hurt! I mean, I think you look great in those dresses, but maybe you should check out other dresses.

What if you did a style like mine....? It's fitted, not mermaid, but still has that slim/sexy look...?

Like something like these? I don't love these dresses for their color, design, etc....but I love their shape. Fitted, but not HUGGING....ya know?

the 3rd one is gorgeous LOVE IT!!!...yeah that style looks good on her too either mermaid or fitted is what i meant...i meant no a-line or ball gown for her.

Are you having a tough time deciding because they are too plain or not enough of a bride-y look? Or is it because of the fabrics? Have you talked to any sales women about this???

I was thinking, maybe I should find a pic of Mark's cousin from her wedding in November. Remember I told you she went 'Hollywood Chic'...she had a mermaid style too...I don' t think there was any beading on it though...

FROM WHAT she has said on here i think its simply bc she wanted to see what the new season dresses will look like...she tried on a couple of Platinum priscilla of boston dresses and kenneth pool, also think alvin valenta and they all had beading like she wants and the style, and seems like she likes them but at the same time she wanted to wait until the new season of dresses came out...once they came out she went to check them out, and i think she really likes this new Kenneth pool dress.

actually in the post she is saying she went to the trunk show to get that one dress it just wasn't there so looks like she is ready to get that dress , i think she wants to try the KP and POB one more time.

I think she loves most of the dresses she tried on just so many ones to pick from and she doesnt want to buy something and then later see something else
