Anyone have divorced parents who are not remarried? how are they being announced into the reception, and who are they walking in with?

My parents are divorced. My mom walked in with my godfather and my father walked in with his girlfriend. My DJ arranged the wording for it.

My parents are not divorced, but I was recently at a wedding where the parents were divorced and the father was remarried but the mother was not. There, the parents remained friends so actually the father walked in with his ex-wife.
If that's not an option, I've also heard of the parents walking in with their other children if there are any.

my dad is remarried my mom is not, they are civil to each other not really the best of friends, would it be weird to have my parents walk in escorted by my brother walking in between them?..... dad's wife has medical issues and cannot walk in .

I don't think it would be weird - is he your only brother? THen it could be like 'now announcing the bride's family - father x, brother y and mother z' type of thing.

I think mine will be announced as my parents, and walk in together. I'll make sure they say names, and no mention of husband & wife. everyone knows my parents are divorced too. I couldn't see my mom walking in with her bf I barely know. plus my parents are good friends
