Divorced Program Wording

So i have a question: a little bit of a sticky situation

On the Church program if you were to put

Parents of the Bride:
Mr & Mrs Jane Smith

then if the parents are the groom are divorced but the stepmom is very involved do you put

Parents of the Groom.

Mr. Joe & Jane Smith

Ms. Jane Jane Smith

FH's Mother kept the same last name as the father.. so I have FH mother and Stepmother with the same last name - i hope this makes sense lol

TIA!

is his mom OK that you put his step mom under parents?? if she is, then I think is the perfect wording

I know everyone will know who his mom is, but I feel bad not including the stepmom like she doesn't exsist you know.

I know everything with this is going to be an issue

Yes, that is exactly the way I'd do it! I have the same exact situation.

That is how I did it on my invitations. I think it looks fine!

I completley understand because this is my exact situation! We are paying for the wedding our selves but we are going to say together with our parents I think it keeps it simple and covers all bases HTH

I don't know but usually the man's name would go first right?

like - i can't put his mom first and then do his dad and stepmom right?

That's why on the invitations we are doing 'Together with our Parents' because this get's too confusing and then someone gets annoyed.....grrrrr
