maybe if i had a creative bone in my body yeah sure i'd attempt it. but i'd probably end up spending more money b/c of all the mistakes i would make.

I think I probably saw those same invites..lol. Wre they pocketfold.

I am attempting to do my own b/c I want really nice pocket folds, but i have to do a mock up first. If it comes out like crap- its off to the invitation websites.

I am just buying the invitation all printed and everything and adding a bow...I had so many ideas but when it came down to it I decided that I wouldnt be able to do it

I'm doing my own and yes, it's becoming alot of work. Do I mind doing it? No, not really, especially since I can't find anything I like. My bm's are helping my out though as well so it's not that bad.

i will probably wind up doing my own .. i want pocketfolds.. so i'll probably just purchase the folders from cardsandpockets then cardstock from another site maybe. I'm sure it can get overwhelming but i'm willing to do it to get what i want for a lot less!!

I do my own invites for everything I give. I even do the invites for my school. I is very easy and take a few hours depending on what your doing.

i'm doing simple layered invitation with a sash and cord and it is a lot of work just planning it out and looking for supplies. i think it's worth it though.

I am an Oct. '07 bride and I made my own invites only because I couldn't find any autumn themed ones that I liked. I don't think it was very hard or time consuming. I actually printed all of my inserts in one night. My sister and I assembled them in one day. We printed the envelopes in one evening. The most time I would say was designing them but soooooo worth it. I love how they turned out.

Re: DIY

I don't want pocketfold invites but I was thinking of DIY invites. I saw those kits in AC Moore which if I was going DIY that would be how I'd do it.
