DIY Aisle decorations

I've maxed out my florist budget, so it's up to me to DIY the ceremony space. I know that I want ivory tulle on the banister and bows lining the aisle. I'm wondering if silk flowers tucked into the bows (like the bows tying the bouquet together) would look nice. Anyone have any ideas here? I'm 126 days out, and would like to tackle this now so I'm not scrambling.

In the meantime, I'll check out loverly and pinterest as well.

DIY Aisle decorations - Long Island Weddings

I made about 400 little paper flowers (Martha Stewart has good tutorials) and our florist tied them up with ribbon for our pew bows. It took a very long time but I did them while watching TV over several months. They looked gorgeous.
