DIY Aisle Runner

Do you cut the part of the aisle runner that you don't need? or do you just have the roll at the end.

Also do they roll from where you walk towards the front. or from the front where you are getting married to the back?

I have the same questions, but here is what i've found out thus far...

you can cut off the front of the runner in order to make a smaller roll when you end. (i hope that makes sense). I probably won't cut mine, because I have a weird aisle, and it won't be in the way of everyone walking.

also, you roll it starting from where you will be married towards the back.

I probably won't cut mine either then cause I don't care if there is a roll of left over aisle runner at the end of the aisle where no one will be.
