if you DIY your invites, not the kind where you buy a kit, but where you bought paper and had something printed on them, where did you buy the paper from? I'm thinking of using one heart weddings and printing invites, but I will prob have to get them printed at like a kinkos or something, but where do I get the paper from?

Re: DIY brides...
I ordered samples and printer test kits from both cardsandpockets.com and paperandmore.com. It lets you test different types and sizes to see what works and what doesnt. My sample invites are in my album, very easy and easy to put together.

What kind of paper did you use for the text and layered paper underneath?

Its a really thick cardstock...On cardsandpockets.com they call it the invitation mat its shimmery metallic, not sure if my injet would take printing on it, and the paper I printed on is just called invitation paper, its a lighter cardstock, but no shimmer/metallic.

Re: DIY brides...
I used paper presentation, cards and pockets and a random online paper retailer. I googled linen paper and got it much cheaper from a different site, I printed on that and then mounted it to a piece of metallic paper from paper presentation.
