DIY Brides

Anyone have a DIY Bride, what's on your list?

My mom keeps thinking I am NUTS to try any of the stuff on my list, but I just figured I have the time so why not. I started a few tasks so I have boxes of stuff all over the place LOL my apartment will look like we are still newly moved in for the next 18 months with all the boxes that we will collect LOL

I wish I was a DIY kinda bride! LOL

I may do our menus and escort cards, or I may chicken out in the end.

What are some of your DIY ideas? A lot of brides on here do.

I was going to try and make a card box but I ended up getting a used one from another bride.

FH is making our STD's (video montage) I don't know how that is going to work out so I may have to purchase some magnets last minute, lol

I want to make my own programs, table numbers and menus. I think the RH gives us place cards, but if not I will do those as well.

ETS: I didn't get the card box

I am! I have the time too and I love a good project so I want to try to do as much as I can myself, here's what I'm thinking so far:

*Bridesmaids invites
*Some of the decor, branches with crystals,etc.
*Programs
*Menus
*Table Numbers
*Seating Chart
*Over night gift baskets
*Bathroom basket
*Fabric to go around napkins to add color

The list continues to go on as I see more things on here that I wanna try :) My next on is DIY centerpieces for the E-Party

I am planning to do the escort cards, definitely, since I have a unique idea. Possibly the programs, also, and the menus. Our venue provides two personalized menus per table but I'm thinking I want everyone to have their own menu. Depending on how the first project goes, though, may just stick with our venue providing them!!

Right now my list is

- center pieces
- invites
- unity candle/sand (haven't decided yet)
- sign in book thing
- thank you cards
- card box
- flowers
- favors

started the center pieces a lil already, and have some good ideas about all the other stuff. I know I'm gonna hate myself in the end for all this but right now I'm pumped LOL

You just reminded me, unity candle, in memory table, guest book and maybe favors....looks like we'll be busy for the next year and a half lol, we should def give each other tips! I wish people posted on the DIY board more!

they do give them to me but I think I want to change them.

Yea I noticed that too.

so far I signed up to get all the coupons for just about every dollar store and arts and craft store. so I keep checking them for deals and new stuff.

I got my chargers on clearance from bed bath and beyond the week after Christmas so that was cool!

I' m a party planner so I'm a total DIY er. This is my list:

I'm sure I'll think of more but i'll always post projects on the diy board.
