I'm making my own DIY vellum table numbers (they're coming out great!) But I'm trying to add ribbon along the bottom and don't know what I should use to make it stick (I'm gluing the satin ribbon to itself, satin to satin is what's tricky!!). I tried double sided tape and it popped right off so I figured I'd try a hot glue gun but I'm scared they'll be a dot you can see thru the satin ribbon and I hate that! Any suggestions?
Also, does anyone have a pic of the back of their vellum table numbers I can see?

I am not certain how it would work on vellum, but I would try adhesive spray

I'll give the glue dots a shot but I'm actually gluing the ribbon to itself which makes it trickier - its easier gluing to something else but a pain in the butt to glue satin to satin!

Glue dots have worked pretty well on ribbon for me. Good luck!

spray glue. you have to lightly (lightly!) spray the ribbon first and then smooth it on to the vellum.

Glue dots will definitely work on gluing the ribbon to itself I am doing alot of DIY projects and I am the queen of the 50 cent spools of satin ribbon and have used glue dots for everything! The mini size are the perfect size to work with!
