So, I want a crystal monogram cake topper with three different colors- black, sage green and white- my colors. It is SO expensive to have 3 colors. BUT, I am going to try and make my own. I know it's going to be a lot of work but after a lot of research on pricing and crystals, I am good to go! I can't wait to make this. This is going to be a project of mine during vacay which is the last week of October. I hope it comes out good!

I am ordering an acrylic mirrored letter which is going to be 5 inches. I am then ordering medium sized crystals- 105 green, 105 black and 105 white. Then I am using a tweezer to glue these on indiviually. I am going to do it little by little because otherwise, I may go insane. I heard this could take up to 7 hours! The glue I am using is called Jem Tac or something like that. When all is said and done, this will cost me about 60 as opposed to 160.

Jem tac is great you just have to be really really careful not to get the glue on the top part of the crystals....but it will make them dull.... if you do nail polish remover works pretty well to help get it off.

Thanks for the tip Barb. Is there another glue that could be used that won't dull the crystals?
