DIY Centerpieces!?!?!?!

I've seen some sites that offer bulk flowers to make your own centerpieces...just wondering if anyone on here did/plans to do their own? If so, how did it go?

I think in terms of fresh flowers, the stress of the wedding the day or two before...may not be worth it...

and who will deliver and set up the day of?

but I have seen some very lovely non floral CP that you could do way before the wedding...
