Def don't be nervous!! The beauty of DIY is all in the hand labor and love that goes into it.

Part of the problem with me is that I work for an ad agency as a project manager. So I see all of these beautiful things created by talented designers, and I am designing all of my own stuff. While I have a decent eye for things, I am NOT educated in graphic design at all... I left last night feeling bummed out for the work I had done, but then when I saw my project sitting on my desk this morning, I thought it looked pretty good after all! I am going to try and post some pics, probably after the weekend is over - this is going to be a HUGE DIY weekend for me and my mom!

Ugh, I feel the same way. I just keep showing other people and they have been very reassuring! We diy'd our invites, and I was so stressed about them looking really cheap and amaetur. But now that we have 30 done, I feel so much better!

What exactly are you working on? AND.... an even better question, I worked at an agency, the creatives are nice. LOL, Why don't you ask them for tips on design stuff. Also, check out my DIY album. I have the background but was worried about stuff to and it all turned out well. We are our own worst critics.
Okay here is a pick of the program. This is just a prototype for proofing, etc. It came out a lot better than I thought it would. It's also in my DIY album.
They are nice! I wrote a suggestion in your album that helps me.
Thanks for the tip! I did do a small, light gray border to help me find the proper cut point. I missed it a little in this prototype, but overall, I am much happier with how it came out than I expected to be!!! Thanks again for the advice... :) :)
