I have finally decided on my favors....I didn't want anything that people would throw out or not even use and then waste my money finding something good for both men and woman...so i am going to make a donation instead. I am going to buy Breast Cancer pink ribbon pins and put them all in little brown boxes with pink bows.....i will wrap the pins in pink tissue paper and on the outside im going to attach a tag that says ....'In loving memory of ( my moms name) ' and then have a little saying about donating to the Susan G. Komen Foundation in place of favors...
What do you think? I think it will personalize things a little more and will be appreciated.

I was considering doing something like that, too, but to the American Cancer Society. We lost FH's uncle and my grandmothers to cancer. But... Do you think our guests will feel jipped b/c they didn't get a traditional favor?
